The Governors have a general responsibility for the effective management of the school acting within the framework set by national legislation and policies of North Yorkshire County Council.

The Headteacher deals with detailed decisions about day-to-day running of the school.

Full Governors meetings are held once every half term.

Once a year the Governors hold a parents Open Evening.

Governors are elected for a four year term of office.
